Once you've registered for a trial/demo deployment of ClickDimensions for Microsoft CRM 2011 you will receive an email from our support team with a link to a custom solution package. This package is a .zip file. Save that file to your computer and go into CRM.
To deploy the solution package, follow the steps below:
Go to Settings > Customization > Solutions and click the Import button
Browse to locate the .zip file you saved to your computer
Click next and you will see an overview screen
Click next. On the following dialog be sure and check the box below. This will enable CRM workflow processes used by our solution
Next you will see a progress bar as the solution is imported. If the background screen shows a connection error, disregard it. This is a harmless CRM bug that will not adversely affect the import
Finally, you must publish the new customizations. To do so go to Settings > Customization > Customize the System. A pop up window will appear and you can click the 'Publish All Customizations' button
Now that the solution is imported you can get started using ClickDimensions.
