Social Media and Digital Marketing Coordinator, Wellbeats
1. What do you like best about your job?
What I like about working at Wellbeats is that I have the opportunity to work across departments and support them in their marketing efforts. Getting to test, experiment and scale successful iterations of marketing tactics over time for different groups is an interesting and enjoyable challenge.
2. What are the biggest professional challenges you face and how does ClickDimensions help you address those challenges?
One of the more pressing professional challenges I face is working within processes that are not optimized and coming up with ways to improve them. Oftentimes, marketing processes are not clearly defined, or are constantly changing. With ClickDimensions, we have been able to take some of the manual work out of marketing and automate our process. This is especially true with email campaigns and automated campaigns. We have implemented multiple campaign automations for several different departments, which has saved us many hours. This allows us to focus more of our time on big picture items and work towards improving our entire marketing strategy.
3. What was your background before landing in your current role?
My role at Wellbeats is my first formal marketing job out of college. Back in my freshman year of college, I grew a following of around 2,000,000 followers on Twitter, Instagram and Facebook. I began marketing my own products and other companies to this following and built a formal digital marketing business from there. The business has expanded to offer SEO, social media advertising, videography, and social media growth and management services.
4. What profession other than yours would you like to attempt?
I would like to become an engineer in artificial intelligence. I’m working to learn as much as I can about machine learning, the field of AI in general, and learning the languages necessary to code AI and its algorithms.
5. Who is the person you most admire?
The person I most admire is probably Elon Musk. His ability to forecast the needs of humanity and build business solutions to those needs is mind boggling. He also acts as an encyclopedia for anything tech, which I enjoy as a technologist myself. If his dream to take humanity to Mars comes true, maybe I’ll retire there!
