Chief Marketing Officer, TopLine Results
1. What do you like best about your job?
I’m a Type A creative. I like organization and process but still like to get outside the box with my thinking. In my work, I’m allowed to do this every day when coming up with different campaign automations, creative email templates, and processes to better align sales and marketing. Nothing is better than getting a call from a customer saying they can’t believe how many people opened or clicked on an email and the business results they got or how much time they saved with an automation.
2. What are the biggest professional challenges you face and how does ClickDimensions help you address those challenges?
My challenges are my customers’ challenges. Everyone wants to communicate in real-time with their leads and customers and have meaningful interactions for higher engagement. Better yet, time is precious and we all need to have more of it. By using ClickDimensions to automate different processes, we can accomplish this.
3. What was your background before landing in your current role?
I’ve been with TopLine Results for more than 10 years now and have helped grow our marketing consulting practice. I started out as the Office Manager and moved into a Sales and Marketing Coordinator role quickly. For the last four years I have been the Chief Marketing Officer. Prior to TopLine Results, I worked as the Promotions Team Coordinator for the University of Wisconsin-Green Bay’s University Union. In that role, I managed a team of interns working on graphics, web design, email, social media and events. Many of those interns are some of my best friends today.
4. What is your favorite word, and why?
Laughter. Having fun at what you do and having a good laugh is what makes life enjoyable. I like to run training sessions and meetings with humor. We can still do serious work, get results and have fun doing it.
5. If someone was making a movie of your life, what actor/actress would you want to portray you?
Tina Fey…I like her glasses, humor and her writing. Bossy Pants is a great read.
