Director of Marketing, Art to Remember
1. What do you like best about your job?
My job is heavily project based, and I love that no two days are the same. I also love working for such a great company. The mission of Art to Remember, to Support and Promote Art Education, is an amazing one to work towards every day. In addition, we have a great culture that fosters a positive working environment and encourages growth. I have been lucky to work with great people in every job I have held, but Art to Remember has been an especially good fit. Art has always played a big role in my life, so it’s great to be in a job where we help teachers raise money for the classrooms, give parents the opportunity to keep their child’s art for years to come and make kids feel like famous artists.
2. What are the biggest professional challenges you face, and how does ClickDimensions help you address those challenges?
The biggest professional challenge is that we work with a B2B market to reach B2C consumers. ClickDimensions helps us communicate to both markets. It’s very simple to segment our audiences and send continuous communication. The data we’re able to gather from the email marketing is helpful – we’re constantly pivoting to improve.
3. What was your background before landing in your current role?
My background is in advertising with a small focus on design. Prior to working for Art to Remember, I worked for a media company and held several marketing roles.
4. If you woke up tomorrow as an animal, what animal would you choose to be and why?
Oh wow, this may be the hardest question! I guess I would probably choose to be one of my dogs. They live pretty carefree and cushy lives.
5. What is your favorite way to spend your free time?
I love spending time with my family (my husband and two kids); we like taking day trips and finding new places to explore. I also love interior design, whether it’s working on my own house, helping friends or family, or taking on “real” clients from time to time.
