Vice President of Product Management, ClickDimensions
1. What do you like best about your role at ClickDimensions?
There are so many great aspects to my role and choosing one particular thing is very difficult. We have such great people culture, and technology at ClickDimensions. If I’m forced to choose one, I would have to say that it’s the opportunity to help drive change at ClickDimensions. ClickDimensions is undergoing a transformation and being able to contribute to that has been very fulfilling. From streamlining internal processes, evolving our products, building new solutions and enhancing our infrastructure, there’s just so many incredible things going on right now. I know our customers and partners are already enjoying a lot of these changes and I’m really excited about what’s coming next. Having this impact on our customers and seeing their positive reaction has been a great reward.
2. What is one piece of advice you would like to share with ClickDimensions customers?
Talk to me. As Vice President of Product Management, customer and partner input is invaluable. While we do a great job at monitoring competitors and market evolution, it’s input from the people that use our product on a daily basis that allows us to create the most impactful features. So, if you would like to share a challenge that you’re facing or a product suggestion, please reach out to me and I will be sure that our product team looks into it. I also have some plans for the future which will allow greater participation of our customers in the product roadmap. Stay tuned for more on that.
3. What’s new in your department or area of the company that’s exciting for ClickDimensions customers?
We have some new features in the works that address two of the most common requests from our customers. These requests center around usability and analytics. I don’t want to say too much right now, but I believe our customers are going to love what they see. We have involved customers in user testing every step of the way, so I’m confident that what we deliver is really going to resonate with marketers. We also have a new email editor releasing soon as well as several features that came directly from customer requests. So, keep that feedback coming.
4. If you could live anywhere on this planet and take everything that you love with you, where would you choose to live and why?
Wow. There are so many places on my bucket list and I certainly wouldn’t want to move to any of them before visiting, so I will go with somewhere that I have been. I would have to say Europe. I have always enjoyed traveling there and the people have been fantastic. The culture really resonates with me and my wife – perhaps it’s our ancestry drawing us back. Anywhere in The Netherlands or Rome would be a solid choice.
5. What profession other than yours would you like to attempt?
When I was young, I wanted to be an archaeologist, but my dad always told me there is no money in dirt, so I became interested in marine biology. If I could wind the clock back, I might pursue that instead of computer science. But, I’m too old for that now and I’m very satisfied with the course I have taken in life. Just look at the awesome company that it brought me to!
