Marketing Director, Preact
1. What do you like best about your job?
I love the variety! There is always a good mix of marketing activities we are working on from one day to the next. One of the things I like most is when we identify a good idea and we are able to quickly implement it. It’s great to be part of the Dynamics 365 and ClickDimensions community and promoting the use of this technology to help our clients make improvements to their business.
2. What are the biggest professional challenges you face and how does ClickDimensions help you address those challenges?
Keeping up to date with change and ensuring consistent lead generation are continual challenges. ClickDimensions has had a transformative effective on our marketing operations. From the start, it has been easy to use without us needing much technical help. Best of all, we’ve been able to connect our web forms and other marketing data through ClickDimensions. That’s cut a lot of marketing administration, so our time is better focused on research and content creation.
3. What was your background before landing in your current role?
Before joining Preact in 2001, I worked for more than 10 years in the banking industry. I came to Preact in a customer service role and quickly transitioned to marketing.
4. What profession other than yours would you like to attempt?
That’s a tough one. It would be good to have more time to get more involved in the local community, so perhaps working with a charity to help improve the lives of others.
5. Where do you live and what is your favorite thing about living there?
I’m based in Uxbridge, West London. It’s a great location with lots of green spaces nearby for walking and cycling, and it’s only a short hop to Central London, Heathrow and Windsor – when we escape the lockdown!
