As a growing professional association, the Society for Technology Marketing (STM) wanted to ensure that they increased member renewals while also streamlining their renewal marketing efforts. Using the ClickDimensions campaign automation builder, STM created a renewal campaign aimed at their existing members.
The campaign automation includes several renewal messages, all built with the ClickDimensions drag and drop email editor. This easy-to-use tool also allows for personalization, which the STM team used to add each member’s name, the year they became a member and their local chapter for a customized email experience.
All STM memberships renew in January of each year, so inside the campaign automation, the first message is scheduled to send three months prior.
Once a member renews, they are added to a member marketing list to receive meeting and webinar invites, STM’s newsletter and other association announcements. The organization gives members more control over email communications with subscription management, allowing members to choose the types of emails they receive and helping reduce the number of global unsubscribes.
With event connectors to WebEx and GoToWebinar, as well as Eventbrite and Cvent for in-person events, ClickDimensions allows STM to bring event, registration and attendee information automatically into Microsoft Dynamics CRM for greater insight into who registers for and attends their events.
