Less than two weeks after the official launch of CRM 2011 we're happy to announce that ClickDimensions is fully upgraded and generally available for CRM 2011. We've converted over our own internal CRM 4.0 system to CRM 2011 online and we're so darned excited we can hardly stand it.
So, you might ask, has anything changed from our V4 version to the 2011 version? In addition to now being able to take advantage of all the new 2011 functionality like dynamic marketing lists and inline views, there are three significant changes.
First, we have added our own Social Discovery service into the solution so all your Leads and Contacts will be searched on a variety of public social networks. This service will often bring back pictures of your Leads and Contacts as well as other publically available information. The data is displayed on the ClickDimensions profile page and in ClickDimensions custom Lead and Contact fields. Get ready to make your CRM social.
Second, we've moved our marketing dashboard into the native Microsoft CRM dashboard area. This will give our users complete control over what data they want to see and how they want to see it. We still provide the same data but now we hand control over to you.
Finally, and this is a big one, we've completely automated the provisioning process. To do this we took advantage of CRM 2011's 'solution' concept. New customers will be able to go to a ClickDimensions web address, register their 2011 instance with us and automatically receive a custom solution package that they can import into their 2011 instance. That is all it takes to deploy ClickDimensions with CRM 2011. Could we make it any easier?
