Sending ClickDimensions emails from CRM workflow is extremely easy to do. We’ll explain the process using an example. Let’s say that you want to send a confirmation email to someone who completes a form on your web site. When the visitor completes the form ClickDimensions creates a ‘Posted Form’ record. We’ll set our automated email to be sent on the creation of Posted form records.
Step 1 – Create a workflow to run when a Posted Form record has been created
Step 2 – Add a ‘Create Record’ step to the workflow
Step 3 – Select the ‘Send ClickDimensions Email’ record type to be created
Step 4 – Configure the ‘Send ClickDimensions Email’ record to specify the email template to send, subject line, recipient and sender
Step 5 – You’re done! Just publish the workflow and watch the automated emails go out. Keep in mind that this is just one example of how you can send ClickDimensions emails using workflow.
