If you are upgrading your CRM, you must alert ClickDimensions technical support so your account can be updated and we can provide you with the solution file that will be compatible with your version of CRM. Likewise, if you use CRM Online and Microsoft transitions you from using LiveIDs to using Office 365 logins, we’ll need to know.
CRM 4.0 to CRM 2011:
If you are upgrading from CRM 4.0 to CRM 2011, you should be aware that there were significant changes in how CRM handles customizations. The new solution model in CRM 2011 requires a number of changes within an upgraded CRM in order to make the switch from unmanaged customizations to our managed solution. Our technical support team can provide you with full documentation.
CRM 2011 to CRM 2013:
This upgrade is pretty simple since the solution model is already in place. Let our support team know about the upgrade as soon as it is complete, and we’ll update the account in our system and provide the unique solution file that is compatible with your CRM 2013 environment.
CRM Online with LiveID to CRM Online with Office 365 Transitions:
This requires an update to your account so that ClickDimensions can connect using the Office 365 authentication method. Again, just let our support team know and they’ll be able to quickly help you out.
