Unbounce is a marketing tool that allows marketers design, publish, and a/b test landing pages.
If you are an Unbounce user, it’s easy to combine ClickDimensions forms and surveys with Unbounce landing pages.
1. Unbounce Landing Page with a ClickDimensions Form
Feeds leads/contacts from the Unbounce page into CRM via a ClickDimensions form.
ClickDimensions forms and surveys can be embedded into any web page, including an Unbounce landing page. When designing your Unbounce page, create a custom HTML content area to contain the form. Be sure to size your custom HTML area to accommodate the size of your form.
Double-click to edit the area and copy/paste the embed code for your ClickDimensions form.
Copy the embed code from the ClickDimensions form builder:
And paste it into the Unbounce landing page custom HTML code area:
As with all ClickDimensions forms, you can specify what the visitor will see by using confirmation text or including a redirect URLs. (If you want the form to redirect back to an Unbounce page, include the Unbounce URL in the redirect field.)
ClickDimensions surveys can be embedded into Unbounce landing pages in the same manner. Copy/paste the survey embed code into a custom HTML content area on the Unbounce landing page.
2. Unbounce Landing Page with an Unbounce Form
Feeds leads/contacts from an Unbounce form into CRM via ClickDimensions form capture.
Next, create a ClickDimensions Form Capture record and set up the form fields you want to capture. If you have never integrated a form using form capture, follow these instructions. We will need the Form Action URL later in this process.
Design the landing page and form in Unbounce’s designer. We have added three simple fields: Name, Telephone and Email. In CRM, we created corresponding Form Field records for each of these. (Note: When you create the field in Unbounce, give it the same name as the Form Field ID you gave the Form Field record in CRM. For example, “email” is the name of the email field in Unbounce, and is also the ID of the Form Field record in CRM.)

To link the Unbounce form, select the form, then in the Form Confirmation section, select the option to post the form data to a URL. Paste the Form Action URL from the Form Capture record (seen above) as the URL for the Unbounce form.
Finally, follow the steps below to add the tracking scripts to the Unbounce landing page, and you’re good to go!
3. Adding a ClickDimensions Tracking Script to an Unbounce Landing Page
If you want to track web activity on your Unbounce landing page, include the ClickDimensions tracking script in your page. (Note that adding the tracking script is required if you are using the Form Capture method described above.)
To add the tracking script to the Unbounce landing page, follow these steps below:
- Check the box to use jQuery (1.4.2)
- Paste the ClickDimensions tracking script into the window:
Note that the domain is ‘unbouncepages.com’ which is where this landing page is hosted. Make sure that this domain (or whatever custom domain you are using) has a domain record in CRM.
If you wish to include the ClickDimensions tracking script on more than one page, you can use the Unbounce Script Manager. Add a custom script and paste the ClickDimensions tracking code into the window. You can specify if you want to include the script on all pages or just the main landing pages.
If you are using the Form Capture method described above, you will need to add one more script so that the page’s view and the form can be associated in CRM with the right visitor. This adds a hidden field to the Unbounce form and sets the visitor ID as the hidden field’s value.
