Vice President of Marketing, ClickDimensions
1. What do you like best about your role at ClickDimensions?
If asked this question pre-COVID, I would have said that I have always thought that being a marketer at a marketing technology company is a pretty special opportunity. Not only do I get to have direct access to the complete suite of tools that our company builds and sells, but my team is also representative of a typical ClickDimensions customer. Now that we have all been living amongst a global pandemic for a year, that answer has changed a bit. While I’m still excited about being a marketer in a marketing technology company, I’m even more excited by the role that marketing technology is now playing for companies. Not only did I see first-hand how my ClickDimensions colleagues rallied to help support our customers’ unique needs in an unprecedented global situation, but I’m energized by the appetite from our customers to transform their digital marketing – to be more personalized and relevant, to embrace new ways to capture leads when tradeshows and events are on hold, and to use our technology to do all of it.
2. What is one piece of advice you would like to share with ClickDimensions customers?
The best piece of advice I can give to customers is to not be afraid of the breadth and depth of the ClickDimensions portfolio. Take advantage of product release information and educational opportunities to get the complete picture of what you can do with our tools. Don’t be afraid to create a campaign automation or to use landing pages and webforms. Our platform is so much more than email and I encourage all customers to make the most of it.
3. What’s new in your department or area of the company that’s exciting for ClickDimensions customers?
As we closed out 2020, my team executed a survey to our entire customer base capturing insights on their use of our tool and Microsoft Dynamics, as well as their marketing practices, KPIs and goals. This survey will be the basis for our first-ever ClickDimensions Customer Benchmarking Report. We are finalizing the report and will make it available via our website soon. I look forward to our customers being able to benchmark themselves against their peers and learning about new tactics they can deploy as we get deeper into 2021. And speaking of surveys, if you are a ClickDimensions customer, be on the lookout for our biannual Customer Satisfaction Survey in February. Your responses to that survey are invaluable to us in continuing to improve our offerings and customer experience.
4. Who is the person you most admire?
In my case, person is actually people – my nine-year-old twins. Seeing the world through the eyes of my children, and seeing their unabashed optimism and resilience in what can only be described as a crazy year, is inspiring. As cliché as it sounds, I believe that children are our future and seeing the strength and determination that they have shown while tackling all the changes life brought us in 2020 has left me with a deep admiration for their unique spirits and an unmatched sense of pride that I get to call them mine.
5. If you could live anywhere on this planet and take everything that you love with you, where would you choose to live and why?
I don’t think I would choose just one place. I would choose to be mobile and be able to visit and experience a variety of different places. I have always been curious about the customs and traditions of different places so I wouldn’t want to limit myself to just one place.
